Lagoon Catamaran marks a whole new era in the design of the new Lagoon 39. One of the major changes to Lagoon's new 39 is that the mast is located much further aft than on most catamarans which, according to the designers, improves performance and considerably reduces pitching. The interior and exterior living areas are designed with continuous horizontal and fluent lines to merge inside/outside living spaces into one for more spaciousness and improved safety.

Nauta Design have been tasked with redesigning the interior of the 400 and the result is the stunning 400 S2. The NEW 400S2 is a warmer, more comfortable feel, which has been achieved by the use of more wood and fewer white iberglass surfaces. The new Alpi wood veneer has a deeper, richer grain pattern and the overall look is fresh and stylish. The saloon/galley layout make much better use of the available space. The main fuse panel is now behind the galley console, allowing the electrical panel (as it was before) to house a chest freezer without compromising the storage space in the galley area. The dining table has the provision for seating on three sides, which is more social than the previous L-shaped arrangement. Below, the aft double beds have been widened at the foot, with a step on one side for easy access and the owner's accommodation in the 3-cabin version has been improved. Outdoors she's unchanged, with the same fantastic ergonomics and sprightly sailing characteristics that have already made the 400 such a great success.

The Lagoon 52, the latest model developed by the world's leading builder of cruising catamarans, marks a whole new era in the design of such boats, as indeed did its predecessor, the famed Lagoon 500. With its diamond-shaped vertical bows, bevelled hulls, its as if levitated deckhouse and tall rig, the Lagoon 52 is no ordinary catamaran, but its originality goes a great deal further than just its "outer" appearance, or even its interior layout. This new Lagoon is the result of lengthy discussions between the architects at Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prévost (VPLP), the Italian Nauta Design agency and the Lagoon design department. These discussions led us to make some important and sometimes radical choices, while remaining faithful to what we believe in, in terms of elegance, comfort, safety, user friendliness and, it goes without saying, performance under sail.
