Below are just three of the brokerage catamarans (Leopard, Voyage and Lagoon) that we sold in the last 6 months that were originally in charter fleets. (Read our article: Charter Boats: Good or Bad Deal.) These catamarans were placed back in charter to earn their new owners income while they are positioning their personal and financial situations to be able to go cruising full-time.
Our clients were exceptionally happy, not only with the incredible prices Catamaran Guru negotiated at no cost to them, but also with the investments in their future lifestyles! Read their testimonials. Many people often are skeptical about buying catamarans from charter fleets. But we have found some fantastic buys on good catamarans in various fleets.
We recently sold this 2007 Leopard 43 catamaran Owner's Version for the fantastic price of $230,000. The catamaran was in a charter fleet in Sint Maarten and was in great shape, but for a few deficiencies pointed out by the surveyor. The charter company and previous owner took care of the problems and our buyers, Chevaun and Scott, purchased and placed the catamaran in a charter fleet in Granada. We wish them well!
The average price that similar Leopard 43 catamarans sold for this year is $255,000 a full $25,000 more than our client paid! Search for more Leopard Catamarans.
This 1999 Voyage 500 catamaran we sold for $390,000 to Mike H. He will be chartering her in the BVI as a fully crewed catamaran. A good Voyage 500 is rare to find because they are popular and their owners tend to keep them. We found this catamaran in a charter fleet in the BVI. Mike had his surveyor check her out and she was given a clean bill of health except for some cosmetic stuff. Voyage catamarans are well known for great accommodations and being structured perfectly for crewed charter. He took advantage of our Active Yacht Ownership Program to get a maximum return on his investment.
There were only two other 1999 Voyage 500 catamarans sold this year. One was sold for $400,000 and one was sold for $490,000! Search for more Voyage Catamarans.
We sold this 2008 Lagoon 420 catamaran for $317,000 in the BVI. It was delivered to Fort Lauderdale where it had some extras added for the new owner before being delivered to her charter base in the Bahamas for the season. The work was done by Craig and team at Maz Ocean in record time and at very reasonable prices. Our buyer, Anthony, took advantage of the Guaranteed Income Program with Dream Yacht Charters to help pay for his catamaran.
The average price for similar Lagoon 420 catamarans was $401,000. Our client paid about $80,000 less! Search for more Lagoon Catamarans.
