The 2016 Annapolis Boat Show served up some crazy moments, including a hurricane threat and drenching rain, leaving exhibitors scrambling to get their boats ready and then keep them dry and in good shape for show attendees. But it also provided attendees with some unforgettable moments. With so many catamaran debuts and at least 50 multihulls on display, we all had a great time touring the cats, comparing and critiquing the good and the “not-so-great” catamarans, as we enjoyed the fun atmosphere.
One of the highlights of the show, without a doubt, was hanging out with all the owners we have sold boats to in the last five years or so. The relationships established over the years working with these great clients (and now friends), was never more evident than when more than 30 couples gathered on our boat and talked to prospective buyers about working with us! (See our favorite pictures of the boat show).
We felt honored and humbled that they were willing to give testimonials in person and that they supported our efforts. It is always a great time hanging out with fellow sailors but hanging out with all of these guys, was an even bigger treat and we thank them all for being cheer leaders for us!
We always say: “…when you become a Catamaran Guru client, you are a client and friend for life…” and this boat show showcased exactly that!
While selling catamarans is our business and we obviously would like to sell as many catamarans as we can, we sometimes have to advise people against buying a boat. Find out why.
We are moving on to the next boat show in Fort Lauderdale and look forward to another good time with our owners and prospective boat buyers!
