Big Announcement: NEW Bali 4.3 Unveiled

New BALI 4.3 Packs Big-Cat Living Into a 43-Foot Package

BALI Catamarans has unveiled the new BALI 4.3, bringing many of the innovations introduced aboard the latest BALI 7.0, Bali 5.8 and Bali 5.2 into a more compact cruising catamaran.

The new model builds on BALI’s signature Open Space concept with its solid foredeck, direct access through the saloon and iconic tilting door that opens the aft salon completely to the cockpit. Above, an exceptionally large covered rooftop is divided into helm, cocktail and sunbathing areas, creating another substantial living space without stepping up to a larger yacht.

Perhaps the biggest story, however, is self-sufficiency. A 48V lithium electrical system, combined with up to 3,000 watts of solar, is designed to cover almost all of the yacht’s normal energy requirements and greatly reduce, or potentially eliminate, the need to run a generator.

This is backed by unusually generous capacities for the size, with up to 860 liters (228 gallons) of fresh water and 800 liters (212 gallons) of fuel. The BALI 4.3 also offers a central galley, a King-size bed in the owner’s suite and an electric aft platform capable of carrying a tender up to 3.4 meters and 250 kg. Sailing performance is enhanced by a generous 1,700 sq. ft. sail plan and a relatively light 14-tonne displacement.

BALI has also put greater emphasis on versatility and long-term ownership. A four-cabin charter version can later be transformed into an owners version with a conversion kit relatively easily, potentially giving the yacht a useful second life after charter service.

At just under 45.10 ft overall, the BALI 4.3 is ultimately about delivering the comfort, storage, autonomy and cruising capability traditionally associated with considerably larger catamarans, allowing owners to go farther and stay out longer without moving up in size.
