The Smartfind S20 is a personal Automatic Identification System (AIS) device worn on a lifejacket.
The unit sends alert messages, GPS position, and a special identity code directly to AIS receivers within an approximate four-mile radius. A flashing LED light aids location at night. GPS positioning is updated every 60 seconds, and transmits continuously for up to 24 hours.
