In 1988, GranOcean founder Vincent Mausset identified a need for custom-built, durable, and efficient vessels that could handle all weather conditions while maintaining aesthetically pleasing lines.
Collaborating initially with Sparkman & Stephens and Halvorsen, GranOcean launched the Atlantique 50, a monohull that later evolved into the acclaimed Passage-Maker Series, ranging from 50 to 88 feet. These exceptional yachts, inspired by a classic 1970s Feadship design with a signature funnel and canoe stern, became popular with discerning yachtsmen seeking adventure.
