In 1988, GranOcean founder Vincent Mausset had customers looking to build custom, well-built, efficient vessels to withstand all weather conditions, whilst retaining lines that remained pleasing to the eye.
Initially with Sparkman & Stephens and Halvorsen, GranOcean first introduced the stunning Atlantique 50, a monohull which evolved into the critically acclaimed Passage-Maker Series ranging from 50 to 88 feet. A classic 1970s feadship design, with signature funnel and canoe stern, these exceptional yachts proved to be popular with discerning yachtsmen looking to explore.
