As the 52nd annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show approaches, the show management has announced the launch of a free app called MyBoatShow. Available on both iPhone and Android platforms, the free app promises to make navigation of the world’s largest boat show easier than ever before. Attendees will be able to access show maps and search for exhibitors, manufacturers, product categories, and boats by specifications and size. The app also will provide the show schedule, seminar information, transportation schedules and maps, food and drink locations, restrooms and emergency services.
The 52nd Annual Fort Lauderdale Boat Show will run from October 27th-31st, 2011. The city is known as the Yachting Capital of The World and hosts the biggest in-the-water boat show in the world, featuring a variety of superyachts, motor yachts, catamarans, sailing yachts, express cruisers, cabin cruisers, high performance boats, exotic cars, sport fishers, runabouts, canoes, and some innovative product exhibits. There are five locations and 3 million square feet of space connected by a network of shuttle busses, riverboats, and water taxis. Viewings of the various yachts can be pr-arranged and usually the most popular yachts get booked several days prior to the start of the Show, so book early!
