We are definitely not going to miss the Cannes Yachting Festival this year in September! Not only is it one of the most elegant and fun boat shows in Europe, but it is also the biggest. There were more than 51,000 visitors from five continents, 630 boats and 45 multihulls. This year there may be even more multihulls!
Fountaine Pajot will have the full range including the new Saona 47 catamaran on the docks and we have heard a whisper about a new flagship for the FP range. We had a quick look at the Saona 47 and we have to say, this cat is magnificent with incredibly clever features! We absolutely love it! Unfortunately they are sold out until the end of 2018.

The new Lagoon 40 and Lagoon 50 will debut in Cannes and they will also have their full range on display. We already have a waiting list for the Lagoon 40’s and after viewing the Lagoon 50 floor plans and renderings, we are sure that this model will make a big splash. The big news is that the Lagoon 40 and 50 will be THE buy as far as price is concerned!
The new Lagoon 40 sailing catamaran model, replacing the LG39 and LG400, will no doubt sell fast. As we have seen with the Lagoon 42 selling over 100 units within a few months from the official unveiling, expect another international success story for Lagoon!
Sunreef Yachts, renowned for building large custom-made luxury yachts, has also invited us to the celebration of their 15th anniversary at the show. We will then
have the opportunity to take an exclusive tour and do test sails of their entire custom range as well as the unveiling of a new model range of catamarans! With nearly one hundred fully-customized units launched, including some of the world’s biggest and most innovative multihulls, Sunreef Yachts will take a look back over their 15-year history at this show and predicts an exciting growth and innovative stage in their development. We are super excited!
Of course we will also view the full Leopard and Bali ranges including their powercat ranges. Some other exciting new catamarans like the Catana 53 & 70, the HH Catamarans, Swisscat 48, Outremer, O Yachts and Privilege catamarans which is now owned by Hanse Yachts will all be on our radar.
