The Helia 44 catamaran replaced the Orana 44. This catamaran is an innovative Fountaine Pajot catamaran offshore cruiser. This is a new benchmark design for a 44 cruising catamaran. The Helia 44 catamaran benefits from the yard’s 30 years experience in building safe, seaworthy and comfortable cruising catamarans. The Helia 44 catamaran features many innovations and upgrades over her predecessor.
Fountaine Pajot Helia 44 Evolution
Fountaine Pajot have done a range of improvements on the original design. Mostly everything stays the same as far as dimensions and specifications. Mainly the changes are cosmetic that adds comfort and luxury. A few of the changes are:- Interesting New Owner Suite: The Owner’s Suite in the Maestro version now incorporate an upgraded ensuite with expansive shower (80 x 85cm), separate toilet, generous wardrobe, and a very practical laundry for convenience on extended passages
- New Portholes: Redesigned portholes in the hulls to increase natural light by 30%
- Redesigned bigger saloon: The newly recessed mast creates brilliant panoramic vistas from the saloon and allows even more natural light and extra seating
- Redesigned Davits: New stainless steel davits on deck provide even greater strength and durability
- This new version, Helia 44 Evolution will be available from November 2014.
