SAIL Magazine’s Best Boats 2016

Cruising Multihull 41-50ft: Bali 4.3 Catamarans

Multihulls featured heavily as nominees for SAIL’s Best Boats competition 2016. Multihull designers and builders have challenged the status quo and pushed the boundaries in their 2016 models like never before. Dramatic changes are evident in sailing techniques and technologies with the use of lifting foils and in the different ways they define space, above and below decks with unique building techniques. I think these multihulls will find an enthusiastic audience here in the U.S. and elsewhere in the world.

Congratulations to Bali 4.3, Gunboat G4 and Bavaria Open 40!
