Education, Community & Who Should Attend
The Catamaran Gurus Open House goes beyond boat tours, offering a series of planned educational sessions designed to help buyers and owners make smarter decisions. Programming will cover topics such as yacht ownership as a business, charter management, insurance considerations, marine financing and mortgages (with OceanPoint), what to expect when buying a boat—new or used, and how to successfully sell your yacht. Final seminar schedules and speakers will be announced closer to the event.
Just as important is the community. This open house is about connecting with the people who live the lifestyle every day. Attendees can expect informal conversations with real owners aboard their own boats, firsthand insights into liveaboard life, cruising, and charter experiences, and a relaxed dockside atmosphere with food and drinks (vendors to be announced).
This event is ideal for future and current boat owners, charter-curious buyers, sailing and powerboat students, industry professionals and partners, as well as media and press. We also plan to welcome participation from across the marine industry, including charter brokers, boating media, and marine service brands, with additional partners and exhibitors to be announced.
