Eric first sailed on a Hobie 16 at age 10 and instantly became hooked for life. He was formally trained in the nautical arts through a sea scout program based on Long Island Sound and then sailed competitively as part of a collegiate dinghy racing team in Rhode Island. His career in the boating industry began in marine construction & repair, followed by sailboat retail sales then to the manufacturer’s level where he spent 20+ years managing sales territories across North & South America for leading sailboat brands and charter companies.

Sailing Experience: Over the past 40 years, Eric has raced and cruised on anything and everything from a Sunfish to a 77′ keelboat, winning multiple events and accumulating over 10,000 miles of ocean sailing. He currently owns a Mystere 4.3 beach cat which he enjoys with his family.
Catamaran Expertise & Yacht Ownership Programs: He has worked closely with every major Catamaran builder and participated in transacting hundreds of sales to both private owners and charter management placement. Eric’s boating knowledge, organizational abilities and customer focused approach make him uniquely suited to lead the Catamaran Guru sales team to new heights.
