Martin has boated for 50+ years starting in a 9 ft sailing dink followed by Enterprise yachts, a Pearson 424, Lagoon 410, and now a Lagoon 450F. Born in England, Martin’s passion for flying turned into a career with British Airways. He moved to the US in 1987 as a pilot. Experience includes flying a Global Express corporate jet worldwide with all the expected excitement of flying celebrities and even ex-presidents as he traveled the world.

Ian Martin / Yacht Broker​

Ian Martin’s sailing and racing adventures are well known from South Africa to the Caribbean. He set transatlantic and round-the-world records. He currently lives in Sint Maarten where he owns and operates two charter catamarans and is a certified surveyor. In the mid-90s, Brad’s sailing passion led to a marine career. He has owned several boats including a Pearson 30, Shock 35, J70, and Farr 30. You can find him often at the Annapolis Yacht Club and racing his Farr 30 MUMMBLES in Annapolis on Wednesday nights. Matthew Joubert / RYA Sailing Instructor

Matthew is keenly fitness-focused which helps him stay ready to explore the world through sailing, backpacking, SCUBA, fishing, and water sports of all kinds. His early career as a dive master led him to sailing when he found himself on a delivery from South Africa to Fort Lauderdale. Soon he was working aboard crewed charter yachts. Working his way up from dive master/spear-fishing guide to first mate and captain, he gained invaluable practical sailing experience and earned RYA Instructor Certification.
