Manufacturer’s Description

Innovative, modern, easy to maneuver, cleverly designed, safe, fast spacious, a boat for all of the family to cruise in.   The Lagoon 420 is offered with 2 propulsion systems: standard 40 hp diesel engines with sail drives.

This Lagoon 420 has four cabins, one of which has been converted into a clever storage area for various spare parts, extra clothing, towels, sheet, food, etc.  It can easily be unconverted to its original use as a cabin.
Each of the three sleeping cabins has a new comfortable queen mattress, fans, lockers, storage, conditioning, new hatches with screens and shade for a comfortable sleep.
Each cabin has a head with electric macerating toilets (salt or fresh water flush) and shower.  The shower in the aft starboard head has been converted to accommodate a Haer washer.

The “galley up”, is equipped with a propane, three-burner, stove top and a Breville multi function oven. It has white counter tops with wooden fiddles, plenty of cupboard space, two drawers.  There is additional storage under the seats in the main salon.
Refrigeration and freezing consists of a Vitrifrigo fridge, a Vitrifrigo freezer in the galley and two portable Dometic fridge/freezer units.
The sliding bay window in the galley makes it easy and safe to pass food and beverages to the cockpit and communicate with the helm.
The main salon has a chart table, an ample dinging table, beautiful shiny teak flooring, new curtains and plenty of seating.  The window and doors offer a panoramic view.  Protected by “eyebrows”, the windows also limit solar heat entering the salon and galley. Externally, these windows are also protected by removable coverings.  These also protect the interior from solar heat and protect the windows from scratching and crazing.
The sliding door opens from the salon into and into a comfortable cockpit.
Standing headroom is approximately 6 feet 5 inches.
Priority has been accorded to comfort when designing the interior of the Lagoon 420. The light oak Alpi woodwork and the laminated floor give a modern and relaxing feel. Access into the saloon from the cockpit through a sliding glass door on the same level. The longitudinal galley opens directly on the cockpit, it is the most convivial and practical area, fully equipped with numerous lockers.

Cockpit and Deck

A new look includes, a longitudinal beam that can include a small bowsprit and mooring gear, a large rigid bimini, a tall rig, and a gull wing shaped bridge deck.  The deck is uncluttered so moving around is easy and safe.  It includes wide side decks, new Lewmar Ocean series flush hatches, and plenty of locking storage areas.
The aft passerelle allows passage from one transom to the other without going back up in the cockpit. There are many ways to enjoy life on board the Lagoon 420: the cockpit with its large bench seats and a table is protected from the sun and the bad weather by a rigid bimini top, eisenglass forward, and large solar array. All the control lines can be handled by one person from the helm station, freeing the other living spaces for the guests. The foredeck is dedicated to relaxation.  Newer flat weave trampolines “Super Tramp”.
The helm is a “sport” version offering the helmsman a clear view for navigating, clear communication with the cockpit and a short trip to the main salon entry.
