  • Forward Stateroom: Beginning forward is a large V-Berth, make-up vanity with seat, 2 lockers, dressing seat, two under berth drawers, overhead hatch and private entrance to the day head. Deep storage under berth.

     

  • Day Head: Two doors provide entries from guest stateroom and salon, Corian topped vanity, head with macerator, mirrored medicine cabinet, separate stall shower area with seat and shower curtain. Curved shower rod makes it feel more spacious.

  • Main Salon: Two large fixed ports provide ample light and make the space feel open. A Love seat settee is to starboard with some storage under and twin cabinets over. A dining table is to port with u-shaped seating. A 24” Sony television is on forward bulkhead with locker beneath and hull side storage compartments.

     

  • Galley: The U-shaped galley features Corian countertops, stainless double sink basin, a front and top-loading refrigerator and top-loading freezer. There are four overhead cabinets and one under counter cabinet as well as three drawers and a storage well behind the stove. The galley is ready to prepare delicious meals in port or at sea. Located next two the companion way, the galley has excellent ventilation provided by a 12 volt fan, vent fan and an opening hatch.

     

  • Walk Thru: Aft to port is the walk thru to the master stateroom. Here you will find a large door proving excellent engine and generator access. Outboard is a dedicated navigation station with seat. Located here is the 12 volt and 110 volt electrical panel and electronic displays, flip-top chart table with side cabinet, twin hanging locker adjacent.

     

  • Master Stateroom: The large owner’s stateroom features a centerline walk-around queen berth and nine ports that provide excellent light and ventilation. Couch seating is to port as well as a mirrored vanity with flip up top, storage compartments and book shelf. To starboard are four door bureau lockers with generous shelf storage. An overhead hatch with screen and shade provide additional ventilation.

     

  • Master Head: The ensuite owner’s head features a Corian topped vanity, a head with macerator, Euro Tub with seat and shower with curtain, mirrored medicine cabinets, ample storage and two opening ports with screens.

Hull and Deck

Above decks, her comfort continues. The cockpit is long and deep with easy access to the cabin or the side decks. Spanning the cockpit is a structural arch that supports the traveler, cockpit lighting and stereo speakers. Aft of the cockpit is a full-size padded sun lounge and a stepped transom complete with storage.

The Hunter 42’s center cockpit configuration lends itself to easy cruising and comfort. The side decks are wide and feature inboard chain plates that makes it easy to get forward and aft. A large foredeck provides ample space for anchoring or docking. The deck area behind the cockpit is flat and ideal for laying out and catching some sun. The transom has molded steps which makes getting in and out of the water or the dinghy is easy and safe. Dinghy is suspended by a custom built, stainless steel davit, new in 2020. The cockpit is intelligently laid out with all sail controls lines within easy reach. The cockpit is protected by a bimini and dodger.
