Recommended Reading: Sunfun Calypso
Sunfun Calypso by Julian Putley is a a great find for fellow sailors who are familiar with the Caribbean and in particular the BVI. I read this book years ago and loved it. I recently cleaned out a locker, found the book, and it put a smile on my face. Julian has done many charters for our company and he, himself, is a rather colorful character. The book brilliantly captures the island ambiance in all its fun-filled, sunny adventure with a cast of delightful and shady characters who reside in the Islands. It’s a great read.
